What is the I Ching?
The I Ching, or Book of Changes, is a classical Chinese text about change. Its 64 hexagrams offer a symbolic language for examining tensions, transitions, and possible ways of responding rather than a fixed prediction of the future.
How does a consultation work?
You ask an open question and choose either the existing three-coin method or the Meihua three-number method. The server calculates all six lines, changing lines, and the resulting hexagram before AI interpretation, then locks the structured result.
Two paths to a locked result
Meihua Three-Number Method
First number % 8 = upper trigram, second % 8 = lower trigram, third % 6 = changing line. This documented convention produces exactly one changing line.

How are the hexagram and changing lines created?
With the Three-Coin Method, each line uses three server-side cryptographically secure coin results. The totals determine Yin, Yang, and any changing lines.
With the Meihua Three-Number Method, three positive integers determine the upper trigram, lower trigram, and exactly one changing line. Both methods store their calculation basis and result before AI interpretation; the AI cannot regenerate or alter them.
